The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross SUV has been spotted in India for the first time.
The Eclipse Cross shares its platform with the Outlander. It has a chrome grille with U-shaped chrome inserts on the bumper and twin-pod headlamps. At the rear, the SUV gets large wraparound tail lights. It has a dual-tone rear bumper with silver inserts and integrated reflectors, roof spoiler and a shark fin antenna. The SUV is sporting dual-tone alloy wheels.
In the international market, the Eclipse Cross is offered with a 1.5-litre, turbo petrol engine that produces 161 BHP and 250 Nm of torque, which is paired with a continuously variable transmission (CVT). The India-specific car could get a 2.2-litre diesel engine paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
In India, the Eclipse Cross is expected to compete with the Jeep Compass, Kia Seltos and the likes.
