MG dealerships have started accepting pre-bookings for the Hector Plus. The booking amount is set at Rs. 50,000. Customers can also place their orders online on this website.
The Hector Plus is based on the regular Hector. However, instead of a bench seat, it gets separate captain seats in the second row and a third row of seats as well.
The Hector Plus gets a slightly reworked grille and headlamp clusters. At the rear, instead of a light bar between the two tail lamp clusters, the vehicle gets a chrome strip. The rear design also incorporates fake chrome exhausts.
The Hector Plus is powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine that makes 168 BHP and 350 Nm, which is paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The SUV also comes with a 1.5-litre, turbo-petrol engine producing 141 BHP and 250 Nm mated to 6-speed DCT as well as a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid powertrain that is available with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
