Mercedes-Benz sells 2,948 units in H1-2020

Mercedes-Benz sold 2,948 cars in the first half of 2020.

According to the carmaker, SUVs accounted for 57% of the total vehicles sold during this period. Out of the total vehicles sold in the month of June, 22% were GLS SUVs. The demand for the C-Class, E-Class and GLC was also strong.

Mercedes claims that more than 8,000 leads were generated through online sales platforms in the second quarter of this year.

The carmaker expects sales to pick up in the second half of the year with the availability of BS6 volume products and because of forthcoming launches of volume models.
