Mercedes-AMG C 43 launched in India at Rs. 74.35 lakh

Mercedes-Benz has launched the AMG C 43 in India at a price of Rs. 74.35 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). It has been placed between the C200 petrol and the AMG C 63. This marks the thirteenth and final launch from Mercedes-Benz for this year.

The Mercedes-AMG C 43 is powered by a 3.0-litre bi-turbo V6 engine that churns out 362 BHP and 520 Nm of torque, while being mated to a 9G-TRONIC gearbox. It comes with the automaker's 4MATIC all-wheel drive system. This powertrain is capable of accelerating the car from 0-100 km/h in a company claimed time of 4.7 seconds. The top speed has been limited to 250 km/h.

The AMG C 43 comes with 5 different driving modes: Comfort, Sport, Sport +, Eco and Individual. Other AMG-exclusive features offered with the car include AMG Sports suspension system and AMG sports exhaust.

On the outside, the C 43 AMG gets a new front bumper with larger air intakes, bigger AMG-spec alloy wheels, new rear bumper with integrated diffuser and a subtle bootlid-mounted spoiler. The interiors too get some sportier design elements, including red seat belts, aluminium accents on the dashboard and optional red inserts on the door pads. It also gets an AMG-style instrument cluster with a 5.5-inch multifunction display and race timer.
