Maruti Suzuki Alto 800 Maximum Limited Edition launched

Maruti Suzuki recently announced that it had the Alto hatchback had crossed the cumulative 25 lakh sales mark. To celebrate this milestone, it has introduced a Limited Edition of the Alto 800 called the Maximum, on which the manufacturer is offering benefits up to Rs. 66,666.

Maruti has equipped the Alto 800 Maximum with accessories such as body graphics, rear roof spoiler, audio system and speakers, keyless entry and art leather seat covers.

There are no mechanical changes incorporated into the Maximum.  It continues with the same 796 cc, 3-cylinder, petrol engine that produces 47 bhp @ 6000 rpm and peak torque of 69 Nm @ 3500 rpm as the regular Alto 800. The car has a 5-speed manual transmission and can also be ordered with a factory-fitted CNG kit.
