Maruti launches 'Skill on Wheels' mobile training centre

Maruti Suzuki has launched a mobile training centre to develop the skills of employees at its vendors called 'Skill on Wheels'. The mobile training van will cater to Maruti Suzuki vendors in Delhi-NCR.

The Maruti Center for Excellence (MACE) - a society formed by Maruti Suzuki and 21 of its vendors came up with the concept of the mobile training centre. It provides training for preventive and predictive maintenance, low cost automation and energy management as well as safety, quality and soft skills. 

MACE was set up in 2004 with an aim to upgrade the skills of the employees of its vendors and dealer partners. The society has designed several technical and behavioral training programs aimed at increasing productivity.
