Maruti launches LDiX variant of Swift Dzire

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has introduced a limited edition variant of its best-selling sedan, the Swift Dzire. Dubbed LDiX, the new variant is essentially a base diesel Swift Dzire with additional equipment and is priced at Rs. 6.86 lakh (on-road, Delhi).

The LDiX gets body coloured ORVMs with integrated turn-indicators, front fog lamps, wheel covers, remote central locking, power windows, vanity mirror on the passenger-side sun visor, rear view mirror with day / night setting, double-DIN stereo system with CD and AUX compatibility, front and rear speakers and tweeters.

There are no mechanical changes incorporated in the LDiX variant. The car continues to be powered by the Fiat-sourced, 1.3-litre, MultiJet diesel motor, which develops 75 PS and 190 Nm of torque. The car has a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Additionally, Maruti is offering an exchange bonus of Rs. 15,000 or a loyalty bonus of Rs. 10,000 on the 2014 Dzire. A corporate discount of Rs. 1,500 is also available. The manufacturer has special offers on uncleared stocks of the Dzire from 2013.
