2024 Maruti Dzire caught testing for the first time

The new Dzire will be powered by Maruti Suzuki's new Z-series 1.2-litre petrol engine.

Maruti Suzuki plans to launch the new-generation Swift along with its sedan version, the Dzire, later this year. Now, for the first time, spy images of the compact sedan have surfaced online.

It seems the exterior styling of the 2024 Dzire will be based on the new Swift. The overall shape of the car looks quite similar to the current model, featuring a coupe-like roofline, a strong shoulder line and a stubby rear section. 

Inside, the Dzire is expected to get a redesigned dashboard with a large touchscreen infotainment system in the centre, reworked air-conditioning vents and a 3-spoke steering wheel. 

The new Dzire will be powered by Maruti Suzuki's new Z-series 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine that produces 82 BHP and 108 Nm. The same unit will be available in the new-gen Swift as well.
