Maruti Ertiga facelift caught undisguised; launching in June

The Maruti Suzuki Ertiga facelift has been spotted once again, this time without any camouflage.

As we have seen before, the Ertiga gets a new prominent front grille with thick chrome slats, a restyled front bumper and chrome inserts in the fog lamp housings. The sides of the car appear unchanged. While the rear of the Ertiga is not visible, we expect it to get a tweaked rear bumper and tail lamps. Maruti could also change the design of the car's alloy wheels.

On the inside, the Ertiga could get new upholstery, automatic climate control, a start/stop button and an updated infotainment system from the Swift facelift.

The Ertiga facelift is expected to continue with the same engines as the current model, but Maruti could tune them for delivering better fuel efficiency. There are rumours that the MPV will get an automated manual transmission as well.

According to a recent report by Business Standard, the Ertiga facelift is expected to be launched in June 2015.
