The Mahindra XUV700 was unveiled in August this year. While the carmaker has revealed prices of select variants, the SUV is yet to go on sale.
We know that the XUV700 will be offered in two trims - MX Series and AX Series. Now, here's the complete list of variants.
According to a recent leak, the MX Series will be available in a 5-seater configuration. Customers will have a choice of petrol and diesel engines, with the former getting a 6-speed automatic transmission as an option.
The AX Series consists of AX3, AX5 and AX7 variants. The AX3 and AX5 variants will be available with 5-seat or 7-seat layouts, while the AX7 will be a 7-seater only. All-wheel drive will only be offered on the top-spec AX7 Diesel AT variant. Additionally, the AX7 variant gets an optional pack denoted by C, T and L. These include features like Immersive 3D Sound by Sony, electrically-deployed Smart Door Handles, 360 Surround View, Blind View Monitoring, Electronic Park Brake and Wireless Charging.
The XUV700 comes with two engine options - 2.0-litre mStallion turbo-petrol producing 197 BHP and 380 Nm and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine that makes 182 BHP and 420 Nm (MT) / 450 Nm (AT). Both engines come with a choice of a 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission.
The MX Series gets a de-tuned version of the 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine. It is said to produce 153 BHP and 360 Nm.
