After a two-year wait and a recent renewal of the AdrenoX subscription, Mahindra has finally introduced Over-the-Air (OTA) software updates for the XUV700. This significant development eliminates the need for customers to visit authorized service centers for software upgrades.
While the OTA feature was initially delayed, it is commendable that Mahindra has implemented it at this time. The update process, however, encountered some minor hiccups. Despite having the Auto-Download feature enabled, the software update did not initiate automatically. Manual intervention was required to trigger the download.
I urged to make the move for downloading this with the intention that it will reduce the frequent disconnection of CarPlay, that "dub-dub" speaker sounds after turning off the vehicle and sudden increase in ringtone volume when you receive a call while driving with CarPlay (well, would not it be really scary to hear your ringtone at the volume of 20 when you are hearing an Ilaiyaraja's song at the volume of 8 or 9?)
A snap of the current SW version:
Made a quick video on the process, hoping this would help/guide the Bhpians and fellow 700 owners in updating their Infotainment Units.
To ensure a smooth installation process, please keep the following points in mind:

I hope this helps fellow riders in updating the SW package.
