Mahindra XUV700 production could start next month

There still has been no official word regarding the launch date of the XUV700.

While there has been a lot of buzz about the Mahindra XUV700, there still has been no official word regarding its launch date. Having said that, a poster was recently put up at Mahindra's Pune plant which suggests that production could commence next month.

The poster reads, "The Future is Here…. And I am Proud to be a Part of it..." At the bottom, it says 31 days to go. Since the poster has been put up at the factory and is addressed to those involved in the manufacturing process, we think, the XUV700 could enter production next month.

The XUV700 is based on the W601 platform and promises to be loaded with tech. It is likely to be offered with 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and diesel engines. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic, while all-wheel drive will be available on select variants.
