The first undisguised images of the Mahindra XUV700 surfaced last week. Now, another undisguised car finished in red has been spotted on public roads. The car is sporting Mahindra's new logo.

The XUV700 gets a new grille with vertical slats, C-shaped LED DRLs, LED headlights and L-shaped taillights. The front bumper houses a pair of fog lamps. The vehicle is equipped with dual-tone alloy wheels, flush-fitting door handles, and a panoramic sunroof, which is claimed to be the biggest in the segment.

On the inside, the XUV700 will come with a digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen infotainment system in a Mercedes-like dual-screen layout. It will also get features like automatic climate control, wireless smartphone charging, Driver Drowsiness Detection System and Auto Booster Headlamps.

The XUV700 will be offered with a choice of two engines - a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol producing around 197 BHP and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel with an expected output of 182 BHP, making it the most powerful offering in the segment. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic.
