Mahindra will launch the XUV700 in India later this year. The car is set to go into production next month. Just yesterday, we had reported that the SUV is likely to get the most powerful petrol and diesel engines in the segment. Now, some images of the car’s interiors have surfaced online.
The spy images reveal that the XUV700 gets a dual-tone black and beige interior theme and a leather-wrapped flat-bottom multi-function steering wheel with silver and piano black inserts. The instrument cluster and the infotainment head-unit are integrated into one large display that sticks out from the dashboard. While the buttons on the left-hand side spoke control the infotainment head-unit, the buttons on the right-hand side spoke control the instrument cluster and cruise control functions. The XUV700 also gets a climate control system with physical switches, air-conditioner vents with silver borders, electronic parking brake with auto hold and wireless smartphone charging.
The images also reveal roof-mounted speakers, a central armrest on the centre console, rear air-conditioner vents, seats with contrast stitching and a panoramic sunroof, which is claimed to be the biggest in the segment. The second row seats of the car get two adjustable headrests and a fixed one in the centre and reading lamps adjacent to grab handles. The third row seats get air vents with blower controls.
An image of the front of the car reveals a 6-slat grille and what looks like a radar and sensor setup indicating that the vehicle will get Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). The source of the images claims that the car will get projector headlamps and fog lamps, LED tail lamps, diamond-cut dual-tone alloy wheels, flush door handles, chrome strips on the front grille and garnish on the tailgate and rear bumper.
