Mahindra has teased a feature called 'Auto Booster Headlamps' on its upcoming Mahindra XUV700.
According to the teaser video, if the SUV crosses 80 km/h while driving at night, it automatically switches on extra lights giving the driver better visibility.
Based on the W601 platform, the XUV700 will be offered in 11 variants. It features a completely revamped exterior design featuring striking LED daytime running lights. Inside, the car gets a Mercedes-like dual-screen setup. The car could also get an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) which includes features like autonomous emergency braking, parallel park assist, adaptive cruise control and forward-collision warning.
The variants will include combinations of petrol or diesel engines, AWD, and manual or automatic transmission options.
The SUV will be launched sometime in 2021.
