Mahindra XUV700 to be unveiled on August 14

Mahindra has confirmed that the XUV700 will be unveiled on August 14. The SUV's market launch along with the price announcement will take place at a later date.

The XUV700 will be loaded with features, including a panoramic sunroof, which is claimed to be the biggest in the segment, a digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen infotainment system in a Mercedes-like dual-screen layout, automatic climate control and wireless smartphone charging; among others.

The SUV will also get an Advanced Drive Assistance System (ADAS), driver drowsiness detection system, auto booster headlamps and personalized safety alerts.

The XUV700 will be offered with a choice of two engines - a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol producing around 197 BHP and a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel with an expected output of 182 BHP, making it the most powerful offering in the segment. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic.
