Mahindra starts exporting KUV100

Mahindra has started exporting the KUV100 to right-hand drive markets such as Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and South Africa. 400 units have been exported so far, out of which 220 units have been shipped to South Africa alone from the Mumbai port.

From the time it was launched in India (January 2016), the KUV100 has sold over 13,000 units. In March 2016, 5,157 units of the car were sold, making it the second best-selling Mahindra model for the month after the Bolero.

With good responses from the domestic market and the start of exports, the KUV100 is supposedly becoming the new volume driver for the company.

The KUV100 comes with 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder petrol and diesel engines mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The petrol variant produces 82 BHP and 115 Nm of torque, while the diesel variant makes 77 BHP and 190 Nm of torque.
