Ultraviolette announced its entry into the European market last year on the sidelines of EICMA.

Bangalore-based Ultraviolette Automotive has commenced exports of the F77 Mach 2 electric motorcycle to Europe.

Ultraviolette announced its entry into the European market last year on the sidelines of EICMA. The first batch of the made-in-India F77 Mach 2 was flagged off from the company’s Bangalore facility by Union Minister of Heavy Industries, HD Kumaraswamy, and Karnataka's Minister of Industries and Commerce, MB Patil.

The F77 Mach 2 comes in two variants: Standard and Recon. The former uses a 27 kW electric motor powered by a 7.1 kWh battery, while the Recon variant gets a more powerful 30 kW motor that is powered by a 10.3 kWh battery. It has a range of 211 km and 323 km, respectively.

The F77 Mach 2 is the fastest electric motorcycle in India. The company claims, the Recon variant can sprint from 0-60 km/h in 2.8 seconds, while 100 km/h comes up in 7.7 seconds. The top speed is pegged at 155 km/h.
