Hyundai Creta exports from India cross 2 lakh units

Hyundai has reached a new milestone. The Korean carmaker as announced that it has exported more than 2 lakh units of the Creta from India.

In CY 2019, the carmaker exported 1,81,200 units across 792 variants based on country specific demand. Hyundai had also surpassed the 30 lakh export milestone earlier in 2020. This makes it India's largest automobile exporter. The exported cars are sent to 88 countries including 32 countries in South America, Mexico, 28 countries in Africa, 26 countries in Asia-Pacific and one country in Europe.

In 2015, Hyundai introduced the Creta in India. The crossover is manufactured at the company's plant near Chennai. Hyundai Motor India is presently exporting 10 models namely – Atos (Santro), Grand i10, Xcent, Grand i10 (NIOS) & Aura, Elite i20, i20 Active, Accent (Verna), Venue and Creta.
