Lamborghini Countach to make a comeback; new teaser released

The new Countach will take inspiration from the original model and might carry forward the iconic 'wedge-shaped' design.

Lamborghini has released the first official teaser confirming the revival of one of its most iconic supercars, the Countach.

Along with the single teaser image, the company has also released a video. However, neither of them reveal any details of the upcoming model. Although, the silhouette from the image does indicate that the new Countach will borrow design inspiration from the original model and might carry forward the iconic 'wedge-shaped' design.

The new Lamborghini Countach will make its debut 50 years after the first prototype of the original Countach was revealed at the 1971 Geneva Motor Show.

While details of the new supercar are still scarce, the new Lamborghini Countach could make its debut at the upcoming Concours d'Elegance event in California, USA. The new Countach is also expected to be a limited run model and could come powered by a V12 engine paired with a mild-hybrid system.
