The Kia EV6 GT is expected to be the brand's first all-electric offering for the Indian market. The electric crossover has now been spotted testing in Hyderabad.
The EV6 is based on the Hyundai Group's Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP). It comes with two battery options - 58 kWh and 77.4 kWh, both offered in single and dual motor versions. The 58 kWh battery with the single electric motor produces 168 BHP, while the dual-motor version has a combined output of 232 BHP.
The single-motor version with the 77.4 kWh battery packs 226 BHP, while the dual-motor version produces 321 BHP. The top-of-the-line dual-motor GT variant packs 577 BHP and 740 Nm.
Rumours suggest that the EV6 GT could be launched as early as May 2022.
