Scoop! Mahindra BE Rall-E prototype spotted testing

The BE Rall-E test mule was part of a convoy that included an XUV.e9 electric SUV coupe and an XUV700 EV.

Last year, Mahindra showcased the BE Rall-E concept at the Mahindra EV Fashion Festival in Hyderabad. The electric off-roader has now been spotted testing.

The prototype of the electric SUV concept was part of a convoy spotted in Chitradurga, Karnataka. An XUV.e9 electric SUV coupe and the pure-electric version of the XUV700 were the other two test mules in the convoy.

Coming back to the BE Rall-E, it seems Mahindra plans to put it into production. The test mule looks similar to the concept with its aggressive design. The electric SUV has distinct circular headlamps with LED DRLs on top, a roof rack and square-ish wheel arches.

The BE Rall-E is part of Mahindra’s Born Electric range and will be based on the INGLO platform. The production version could be offered with a 60 kWh battery pack with up to 500 km of range. Given its rugged design, we can expect it to get an AWD variant with dual electric motors.
