According to Partha Datta, President and Managing Director, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) India, the Jeep Compass facelift is scheduled to be launched in early 2021.
The updated Compass is expected to get new headlights, bumpers and a redesigned grille. It is also expected to get a new dashboard with a larger touchscreen infotainment head-unit as well as connected-car tech.
In addition to the Compass facelift, Jeep is also evaluating a sub-4 meter SUV for the Indian market. Codenamed as the Jeep 526, it will have four-wheel drive and is expected be launched in 2022.
A 3-row SUV based on the Compass platform is also likely to debut in 2021. It is expected to compete with the Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour.
Another SUV that is set to debut in 2021 is the next generation Grand Cherokee. It will be offered with petrol, diesel and hybrid powertrain options.
