Jeep Compass facelift caught testing in India

The Jeep Compass facelift has been spotted testing in India.

The camouflaged test mule seen in these images looks similar to the current model. In fact, apart from minor cosmetic changes, the new Compass is unlikely to get any major updates.

Like the international model, the India-spec Compass could also get a revised grille and headlamps. On the inside, it could get a soft touch dashboard and an 8.4-inch touchscreen infotainment head-unit with UConnect 5.

In the international market, the Compass gets a new 1.3-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine along with a plug-in hybrid version. In India, Jeep will continue to offer the 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder diesel that produces 170 BHP and 350 Nm and the 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine that makes 161 BHP and 250 Nm.
