Jaguar has revealed the specifications of its India-bound SUV, the F-Pace. The Jaguar F-Pace was showcased in India at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo, and is expected to be launched later this year.

The F-Pace will be offered in three trims in India: Pure, Prestige and R-Sport. Interestingly, the limited production First Edition model is also listed on Jaguar India's website, pointing towards the possibility of it being available at the time of launch.

The Pure and Prestige trims will be equipped with a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine, which develops 180 BHP and 430 Nm of torque. This engine will be capable of propelling the F-Pace from 0-100 km/h in just 8.7 seconds while the top speed is 208 km/h.

The higher R-Sport and First Edition models will be powered by a bigger 3.0-litre, V6 diesel engine that churns out 300 BHP and 700 Nm of torque. These power and torque figures make sure that the F-Pace completes the 0 to 100 km/h sprint in 6.2 seconds, before hitting a top speed of 241 km/h.

All variants of the F-Pace will come with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and an All Wheel Drive (AWD) system as standard.

It is strange to see that Jaguar India isn't providing any petrol engine option with the F-Pace, especially after seeing the ban on diesel cars in Delhi-NCR, and the shifting customer preferences in the Indian market.
