Indonesia: Maruti Suzuki Ertiga facelift - interiors revealed

Here are some more images of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga facelift from Indonesia. The car is expected to be unveiled at the Indonesia International Motor Show, which begins August 20, 2015.

The latest round of spy shots reveals the interior of the Ertiga. While the design of the dashboard remains the same, there are a few changes that can be spotted. These include a split folding third row of seats and a steering wheel, handbrake lever and gear knob of a darker colour.

Coming to equipment, the Ertiga still does not get climate control or a starter button. However, it will now be available with electrically retractable door mirrors and all variants are expected to get dual airbags.

Changes to the exterior include a new grille with horizontal chrome slats, a restyled front bumper with a tweaked air dam and redesigned fog lamp housings with chrome accents, a redesigned bumper, a thick chrome strip above the number plate housing with "ERTIGA" embossed on it and reflectors at both ends and redesigned alloy wheels.

The Ertiga facelift is expected to continue with the same 1.3-litre diesel and 1.4-litre petrol engines as the current model. Maruti is likely to tune them for delivering better fuel efficiency and there are rumours that a variant with an automated manual transmission could be introduced as well.
