Indian Roadmaster launched in India at Rs. 37 lakh

Legendary American motorcycle manufacturer, Indian Motorcycle has silently launched the Roadmaster motorcycle in India at a price of Rs. 37 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The Roadmaster is a touring motorcycle, powered by a Thunder Stroke 111, V-twin engine with a displacement of 111 cubic inches (1819 cc) and producing 139 Nm of torque. The bike comes with a 6-speed gearbox, a telescopic fork suspension at the front and a single shock absorber with pneumatically adjustment at the rear. Stopping power is provided by dual disc brakes at the front and a single disc brake at the rear.

Features on the Roadmaster include remote locking for the trunk, 37.6 gallons of weatherproof storage, LED lights, keyless ignition, tan leather seats, ABS, cruise control, a power windshield, heated leather seats, heated grips, adjustable floorboards and a 200w stereo system with AM/FM, bluetooth and Smartphone compatibility. Instrumentation consists of an electronic speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, dual tripmeters, display for average speed, distance, time, instantaneous and average fuel economy, fuel range, clock, compass, ambient air temperature, gear position, tyre pressures and battery voltage among others.
