The 2017 Hyundai Xcent facelift was recently spotted testing under thick camouflage. While the earlier spy shots didn't offer a proper look at the car, it was apparent that the new model would get a major makeover at the rear. Now, new spy shots have surfaced that offer a better look at the car's updated tail end.

The images reveal that the Xcent facelift will come with horizontally placed wraparound tail lights. These new lights stretch towards the number plate housing in the middle, which makes it apparent that the car will also get a new boot lid to make enough space for the new light assemblies. The new images also show a chrome appliqué placed above the number plate housing.

The Xcent facelift is also expected to borrow certain design cues from the recently launched Grand i10 facelift. These include a larger hexagonal front grille and new fog lamp housings with integrated LED DRLs. The interiors are expected to come with a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and MirrorLink.

It will also get the new 1.2-litre, three-cylinder diesel engine from the updated hatchback, while the petrol unit will be carried forward without any changes.
