Hyosung launches refreshed GT250R

Korean motorcycle manufacturer, Hyosung has launched the GT250R facelift in India.

The facelifted GT250R gets a restyled fairing and headlamp. The bike now resembles its bigger sibling, the GT650R. The two can be told apart by their exhausts - the 250 has an aluminium-finished one, while the 650's is finished in matt black and by the width of the tyres.

Additionally, there are three new colours - red titanium, black titanium and white titanium, each of which will be available in three tone shades.

Mechanically, the GT250R is unchanged. It continues to use the 249 cc, fuel-injected, oil-cooled, V-Twin engine as before. The unit produces 27.6 bhp @ 10000 rpm and 22.07 Nm of torque @ 8000 rpm and is mated to a 5-speed gearbox.

The Hyosung GT250R is priced at Rs. 2,76,000 (ex-showroom, Pune) and will be sold through DSK Hyosung's 36 brand outlets across India.
