Isuzu D-Max Cab Chassis Standard variant launched at Rs 10 lakh

Isuzu has introduced a new variant of the D-Max pickup truck in India. The new '1.7 Cab Chassis Standard' variant is priced at Rs 9,99,990 (ex-showroom, Chennai).

According to Isuzu, the new D-Max Cab Chassis variant is ideal for businesses such as perishables, FMCG, food and catering, as well as last-mile delivery. It offers customers the option to construct their own load bodies depending on the requirements of their business.

The D-Max Cab Chassis variant uses a 2.5-litre 4JA1 diesel engine that produces 78 BHP @ 3,800 rpm and 176 Nm @ 1,500-2,400 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The D-Max 1.7 Cab Chassis Standard variant comes with features like height-adjustable seat belts and a multi-information display with a gearshift indicator. It gets a collapsible steering column and underbody steel protection for the drivetrain. Additionally, Isuzu has also provided a Brake Override System, which cuts power to the engine in case of panic braking.
