A test mule of a motorcycle, believed to be from the Hero MotoCorp stable, has been spotted. The bike is probably a new low-cost product with which, the company will appeal to the rural and entry-level motorcycle segments.
The image of the bike indicates that it is a basic, no-thrills product. It has spoked rims, drum brakes all round, telescopic front suspension and dual coil springs at the rear. The bike has a basic tail lamp unit, clear lens turn-indicators, saree guard and leg guard.
There are no details available about the engine that the motorcycle is powered by. However, Hero recently revealed that it was planning to introduce a new range of two-wheelers with non-Honda engines leading to speculation that this bike could be using a 100-110 cc engine developed by Hero MotoCorp.
More details on this motorcycle are awaited.
