Hero MotoCorp resumes manufacturing ops at all plants

The company has stated that it will move to double-shift production gradually.

Hero MotoCorp is gradually resuming operations at its five manufacturing plants in India from May 24, 2021.

The bike maker had already commenced single shift production at its Gurgaon, Dharuhera and Haridwar plants from May 17. The Neemrana, Halol and Chittoor plants will start single shift operations from May 24. The company has stated that it will move to double-shift production gradually.

It is said that strict safety and hygiene protocols have been put in place at all manufacturing units and offices for the gradual resumption of operations. More than 90% of Hero MotoCorp employees above the age of 45 have been vaccinated.
