Installed FuelX lite on my bike recently in the hope the terrible low rpm fueling is improved.
There is definitely some improvement but it's not night and day.
I spent 6.5k for the unit. I haven't made up my mind yet if it has been value for money!
I have installed FuelX lite on my Svartpilen 250 (bs6) just as an experiment to see what changes it does to the bike. My observations are, it made no difference from idle to about 4000rpm. From 4 to 6 the bike is more eager and the throttle response has improved even the sound has changed. But it’s not a very significant, I wouldn’t buy this product for such minor difference. From 6000 onwards there is no difference.
I have also installed quick throttle, I am using progressive cam at the moment. It increases the throttle opening (as compared to stock) after about 30% of throttle twist. This cam gives the same throttle opening initially as the stock, which makes city riding easy.
I haven't clicked photo of the cam so I am using image from google.
As for the mileage I feel it has dropped because of the quick throttle, I also feel that FuelX will not improve the mileage as they claim nor will the engine run cooler.
Of the 2 mods I feel quick throttle is worth the money since you get 3 different cams and you can always interchange to get different riding experience and the change is much more prominent than that from FuelX lite.
