Formula 1: Rosberg wins Abu Dhabi Grand Prix

Nico Rosberg has won the Abu Dhabi Formula One Grand Prix, the last race of the season. This is his third victory on the trot. Lewis Hamilton, Rosberg's Mercedes team mate finished second and Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen finished in third place.

Rosberg led the race from the start and for most of the 55 laps. Hamilton was attempting a one-pit stop strategy and took the lead for ten laps. However, he had to pit one more time for a tyre change and handed the lead back to Rosberg. Eventually, he finished over 8 seconds behind the German.

Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel started fifteenth and fought his way up the grid to cross the finish line in fourth, behind Raikkonen. Force India's Sergio Perez finished the race in fifth place.

Daniel Ricciardo (Red Bull), Nico Hulkenberg (Force India), Fillipe Massa (Williams), Romain Grosjean (Lotus) and Daniil Kvyat (Red Bull) rounded up the list of top ten finishers.

Lewis Hamilton has won the 2015 World Drivers' Championship and Mercedes has taken the constructors' title.
