We had reported in our previous article that Fiat has started testing the Punto facelift in India. As the company continues to test the car, a reader on automobile website, theautomotiveindia.com has snapped pictures of the car's interiors.
As is apparent from the pictures, the car features a new dashboard that bears a striking resemblance to that of the Linea facelift, which was displayed at the 2014 Auto Expo. The refreshed interiors have a two-tone theme and a much more upmarket look compared to the current ones.
Our earlier pictures had shown the exterior of the car heavily masked at the front and the rear, which leads us to believe that it could feature restyled bumpers, grille, tailgate and rear lights. The test car also features alloy wheels of a different design.
Mechanically, the Punto facelift is likely to be identical to the current Punto. The current engine range includes 1.2-litre, 68 PS and 1.4-litre, 90 PS petrol engines a 1.3-litre, MultiJet diesel, which can be had in 76 PS and 93 PS configurations.
