E-motor cover deleted from select Tata Nexon EV variants

The electric motor cover can still be purchased as an accessory.

Tata Motors no longer offers the e-motor cover on select Nexon EV variants.

The latest round of cost-cutting measures has affected the XM, XZ+, XZ+ Jet and XZ+ Dark Editions. Going forward, only the XZ+ Lux and XZ+ Lux Dark trims will get the e-motor cover from the factory. However, it can still be purchased as an accessory.

The e-motor cover on the Nexon EV is more of a cosmetic addition, as it makes the area under the bonnet look a bit more presentable. It wraps around the control modules and other gubbins on top of the electric motor.

Tata Motors hasn’t made any changes to the Nexon EV Max and it will continue to be offered with a factory-fitted e-motor cover.
