Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 launched at Rs. 8.52 lakh

The Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 has been launched in India. The sixth model of the Scrambler family is priced at Rs. 8.52 lakh (ex-showroom, India).

The Scrambler Mach 2.0 features a 1970s style paint scheme designed by Californian designer Roland Sands. The bike takes inspiration from the Mach 1 250 from 1965. Dimension wise, it is similar to other variants of the Scrambler. The maximum length of the bike is 2,165 mm while its width and height are 845 mm and 1,150 mm respectively. The wheelbase remains unchanged at 1,445 mm as does the seat height, which is set at 790 mm. It has a 14-litre fuel tank and at 170 kg (dry weight), the Scrambler Mach 2.0 weighs slightly less than some of the other variants. 

The Ducati Scrambler Mach 2.0 comes with low-slung, variable cross-section aluminium handlebars, a Flat Track Pro seat, side-mounted exhaust finished in black and matching cylinder head covers and brushed cooling fins. Like the rest of the Scrambler range, the Mach 2.0 is based around a tubular steel trellis frame and features upside down Kayaba 41 mm forks in the front and an adjustable Kayaba rear shock.

It is powered by an 803cc, L-twin cylinder engine that produces 72 BHP @ 8,250 rpm and 67 Nm of peak torque @ 5,750 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Brakes come equipped with ABS as standard and comprise of a single 330 mm disc in the front with a radial 4-piston caliper and a 245 mm rear disc paired with a single-piston.

Other features include LED front and rear lights, LCD instrument cluster, aluminium belt covers and under-seat storage compartment with USB socket.
