Ducati to make electric race bikes for MotoE World Cup

Currently, Energica is the sole supplier of the race machines for the MotoE World Cup. Its 4-year contract ends in 2022.

Ducati will make electric race bikes for MotoE World Cup. From 2023, the Italian brand will become the official and sole supplier of race motorcycles for the FIM Enel MotoE World Cup, which is the electric class of the MotoGP World Championship.

As per the agreement, Ducati will provide electric race bikes for MotoE World Cup until 2026, which will cover four seasons of the championship.

Currently, Energica is the sole supplier of the race machines for the MotoE World Cup. Its 4-year contract ends in 2022. The manufacturer of high-performance electric motorcycles has recently announced that it will not renew its partnership with Dorna Sports.

Energica’s Ego Corsa racebike has been used by all the teams in the MotoE World Cup. It is based on the street-legal Energica Ego high-performance electric motorcycle.
