DSK Benelli 302R launched at Rs. 3.48 lakh

DSK Benelli has launched the 302R at a price of Rs. 3.48 lakh (ex-showroom India). It is the first fully-faired bike offered by the brand in India. The new bike is available in three colour options: White Rosso, Red Nero and Silver Verde.

The DSK Benelli 302R is powered by a 300 cc, inline 2-cylinder engine which puts out 38.26 BHP @ 11,500 rpm and 26.5 Nm @ 10,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed, constant mesh gearbox. It features inverted telescopic forks up front and a hydraulic mono-shock absorber at the rear. 

The 17-inch alloy wheels are wrapped in 110/70 R17 tyres in the front and 150/60 R17 at the back. Brakes come in the form of twin discs and a single disc setup at the front and rear respectively with ABS as standard. The 302R weighs in at 198 kg and has a 14 litre fuel tank. 

The 302R competes with the Kawasaki Ninja 300 which has similar engine specifications with 38.4 BHP and 27 Nm of torque.
