Chris Harris, Sabine Schmitz, Chris Evans to host Top Gear UK

Who is going to host Top Gear UK next? A question that seems to have been answered as reports suggest that Chris Evans will be joined by Chris Harris and Sabine Schmitz to host what was one of BBC's biggest and most popular shows.

Schmitz, popularly known as the "queen of the Nurburgring" is a professional race car driver and has appeared in a few episodes of Top Gear UK in the past. She also has hosting experience with a German car show called 'D Motor'. Chris Harris has been a contender for the post of 'Top Gear host' ever since the show was cancelled after Clarkson's ouster. An experienced automotive journalist himself, Harris has written for multiple publications and carries out road tests and reviews on his popular YouTube channel "Chris Harris on Cars".

Reports also suggest that retired Formula One driver David Coulthard could join the show as a host. The new Top Gear is expected to go on air on May 8th, 2016 and it remains to be seen what kind of changes will be made to the format. Meanwhile, James May, Richard Hammond and Jeremy Clarkson are gearing up for their new show on Amazon Prime.
