Bridgestone India enters 2-wheeler tyre market with NEURUN

Bridgestone India has launched their first two-wheeler tyre brand - NEURUN. This marks the company's foray into the motorcycle and scooter tyre market in the country.

Bridgestone India currently has its presence in passenger car, truck and bus segment, and even develops off-road tyres. With the new NEURUN tyre brand, the company is trying to expand its footprint in the country, especially in the high-volume two-wheeler segment. In the international markets, Bridgestone already has a good name in the two-wheeler tyre segment, and has even been a sole tyre supplier for Moto GP.

Currently, NEURUN two-wheeler tyres will be available in 5 sizes. Bridgestone claims that this range of tyres will cater to 70% of the current market demand. The company might introduce more sizes in the future depending on the response.

Bridgestone NEURUN tyres will be available from August 2016 at the company's existing tyre dealer network in the country.
