Brazil: 7-seater Jeep Grand Compass details out

Details of the upcoming 7-seater Jeep Compass, dubbed the Grand Compass have surfaced online.

According to a media report, the Grand Compass is likely to debut in the Brazilian market in 2021. It is expected to be based on the Compass facelift and is therefore likely to receive a similar front fascia with the updated headlights and bumper. The grille is expected to be moved slightly upwards. The fog lamp pods are also expected to be tweaked along with the air dam.

The Grand Compass will be different from the B-pillar onwards. It is expected to get a large third window. The S-shaped trim that follows the roof line is expected to be retained. The rear of the car could have a boxy appearance, while the rear number plate mounting will remain on the tail gate.

The Grand Compass will have an additional third row of seats. The report suggests that with the seats folded, the boot capacity could increase to 700 litres. However, with the third row of seats in position, luggage capacity could be limited to 110 litres.
