Bajaj V15 gets new Cocktail Wine Red colour

Bajaj Auto has added a new Cocktail Wine Red colour for the Bajaj V15. Till now, the V15 was available only in Ebony Black and Pearl White colour tones.

The V15 is Bajaj's fourth product in the highly competitive 150 cc segment after the Pulsar 150, Discover 150, and the Avenger 150 Street. The V15 became popular in the Indian motorcycle market as the company claims that it is made from the steel from the INS Vikrant.

Bajaj sold over 24,057 V15 bikes in the month of April 2016. The Indian two-wheeler maker has thus launched a new colour to further boost the sales of its new 150 cc bike. Bajaj Auto plans to sell 50,000 units of the V15 in the coming months, and has thus increased production to 1,000 units per day.

Bajaj V15 is powered by a 149.5 cc, single cylinder DTS-i engine that develops 11.8 BHP @ 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 13 Nm @ 5,500 rpm. This engine is equipped with a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The Bajaj V15 is priced at Rs. 62,002 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
