Audi RS Q8 bookings open

Audi has started accepting bookings for the RS Q8 high performance SUV. The booking amount is set at Rs. 15 lakh.

The RS Q8 features a sporty bodykit and rides on 22-inch wheels. On the inside, it gets Alcantara upholstery with RS flat-bottom steering wheel, dual touchscreens and a digital instrument cluster.

But, it's the engine that makes the RS Q8 special. It is powered by a 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 engine with a mild-hybrid system that develops 591 BHP and 800 Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission.

The RS Q8 holds the lap record for production SUVs on the Nurburgring. The SUV is claimed to accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.8 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h. With the optional dynamic package, this can be raised to 304 km/h.
