Ather 450S prices slashed by up to Rs 25,000

The base Ather 450S now costs Rs 97,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Ather Energy has reduced the prices of its entry-level electric scooter, the 450S, by up to Rs 25,000. 

The base variant now costs Rs 97,000 (ex-showroom, Delhi), while the price of the 450S with Pro Pack has been slashed by Rs 25,000. It now costs Rs 1.19 lakh.

The Ather 450S was launched in August last year. It comes equipped with a 7-inch DeepView Display, an LED headlamp and a single-piece seat. The Pro variant gets additional features like Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, auto-hold function, and four riding modes – SmartEco, Eco, Ride and Sport. The e-scooter also features a coasting regen function, Fall Safe and an emergency stop signal.

The 450S is available with a 2.9 kWh battery that powers a 5.4 kW electric motor. It has a maximum range of 115 km and a top speed of 90 km/h. Ather claims the battery can be charged in 8 hours and 36 minutes.
