Ampere Reo Elite electric scooter launched at Rs. 45,099

Ampere Vehicles has launched the Reo Elite electric scooter in India. It is priced at Rs. 45,099 (ex-showroom, Bangalore).

The Reo Elite gets a twin headlamp at the front and V-shaped indicators positioned on the handle. It has a flat seat and a V-shaped tail lamp. The scooter is equipped with a digital instrument cluster. It has underseat storage with a phone holder and a USB charger.

The Reo Elite uses a 48 V-20 Ah sealed lead-acid battery that offers a maximum range of 55-60 km on a single charge. The battery can be recharged using a 48V, 2.7A charger in 8 hours. The scooter has a top speed of 25 km/h and therefore, it does not require a license or a certificate of registration.

The Reo Elite comes with telescopic type front suspension and has twin shock absorbers at the rear. It comes equipped with 110 mm drum brakes at both ends.
