Spy images of what is believed to be the 7-seat version of the Jeep Compass have surfaced online.
The test mule seen in these images appears to be slightly longer than the 5-seater Compass. It has a larger quarter glass and reshaped D-pillar. While the squared-off wheel arches have been retained, the tail lamp clusters seem to have been reshaped.
The front end of the test car is wrapped under heavy camouflage, which suggests that it might get an updated front fascia based on the facelift version sold in the international market.
It has been reported that the Compass could be offered with the new 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine, in addition to the existing 2.0-litre diesel unit. The turbo petrol engine could be offered with either a manual or dual-clutch automatic gearbox, while the latter could be paired with either a 6-speed manual or 9-speed automatic transmission.
