Force Motors is developing a pure-electric version of its popular minibus, the Traveller. A prototype of the new e-bus was recently spotted testing in Pune.
The Force e-Traveller Smart Citibus was showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2024. It has been designed for last-mile connectivity.
The e-Traveller is based on a monocoque design offering a low floor height. The exterior looks similar to the standard Traveller. This particular test mule has single-pane glass on both sides and a split rear tailgate, which doubles as an emergency exit.
The e-Traveller can seat up to 14 people, including the driver. It is also equipped with air-conditioning and a passenger information display.
The Force e-Traveller is said to have a peak output of 161 BHP from a rear-axle-mounted electric motor.
