4th-gen Skoda Octavia launch on June 10; bookings open

The new Octavia could be priced around Rs. 27.50 lakh - Rs. 32 lakh (ex-showroom).

Skoda dealerships have started accepting bookings for the new Octavia ahead of its formal launch scheduled for June 10, 2021.

As per the message sent out by a dealer, the fourth generation Octavia will be priced around Rs. 27.50 lakh - Rs. 32 lakh (ex-showroom).

The new Octavia is based on the MQB EVO platform and has a slightly longer wheelbase compared to the outgoing model. It comes equipped with LED headlamps and tail lamps and Rotare Aero alloy wheels.

The Octavia is likely to come with a choice of two turbocharged petrol engines. These include a 1.5-litre TSI unit paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and a 2.0-litre TSI unit which could be offered with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
