3rd-gen Hyundai i20: Infotainment & Safety features

Hyundai has released a video with details of the infotainment system and safety features offered in the third generation i20.

The new i20 gets a 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment head-unit. It has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity and gets features such as navigation, Hyundai Live, Blue Link and cloud-based natural language voice recognition. The car comes with an optional Bose audio system comprising of 8 speakers and a sub-woofer.

Coming to the safety features, the new i20 comes with navigation-based cruise control, Lane Following Assist (LFA), Blind-spot Collision-avoidance Assist (BCA), Rear Cross-traffic Collision Assist (RCCA), Parking Collision-Avoidance Assist – Reverse (PCA-R), Parking Assist (PA) and Intelligent Speed Limit Assist (ISLA). The video shows a demonstration of Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) and Leading Vehicle Departure Alert (LDVA).
